From designing cutting-edge buildings and bridges to contract administration and working on-site, he seamlessly integrates his comprehensive industry knowledge to deliver unparalleled insights. He has acted for and represented clients in litigation, arbitration, mediation and adjudication, both for claimants and respondents.
With two Masters' degrees in Engineering and Construction Law, Ewen is a thought leader in the field. As a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and Forensic Analysis with the Guild of Project Controls, his credentials are a testament to his expertise. Ewen's dedication to excellence has earned him prestigious accolades, including a scholarship to Imperial College, University of London, the Secretary of State's Award for Environmental Excellence at the British Construction Industry Awards, and the Queen's Jubilee Trust Continuing Education Award.
Ewen is regularly appointed as an expert witness in international arbitration where his experience portfolio spans, inter alia, infrastructure and civil engineering projects including airports, bridges, motorways, tunnelling, rail and metros, water treatment and sewage; energy including HEP, waste to energy and multi-fuelled power plants; major building including mixed use developments and fit out; mechanical and electrical installations; mining; and petrochemical including FPSOs, oil and gas and LNG. Ewen is also well versed in many of the standard forms of construction contract including NEC, FIDIC, JCT, ICE, and GC works conditions as well as bespoke forms of contracts including PFI contracts.
Ewen's proficiency extends beyond the construction site. Armed with advanced IT skills, he processes and presents information with precision, ensuring a compelling and persuasive case. With over 18 years of commitment to the construction industry, Ilke's journey is a testament to her attention to detail and relentless work ethic. She is a seasoned civil engineer and delay analyst renowned for her ability in forensic construction programming and delay practices.
Ilke began her journey with invaluable on-site experience on international construction projects in the Middle East region. She then became a member of the Lender’s Technical Advisory Team for a prestigious multi-billion dollar build-operate-transfer motorway project in Turkey. Witnessing firsthand how projects come to life and understanding the intricacies of project financing provided her with a unique perspective that sets her apart.
Ilke then transitioned into the world of construction disputes. Armed with a solid academic foundation from King's College London, where she pursued her MSc Construction Law and Dispute Resolution degree, Ilke embarked on a journey into forensic delay analysis.
Ilke brings extensive experience in delay analysis across diverse projects, including airports, commercial developments, power stations, rail, refurbishment, and transportation. Her hands-on involvement has refined her understanding of project dynamics, earning her multiple appointments as a forensic delay expert. Louk Korovesis is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and project management professional, specialising in construction and forensic delay and disruption analysis, with over 15 years of construction and consulting experience. With linguistic fluency and international project exposure Louk offers a global perspective, crucial for navigating diverse teams and projects. He has significant experience in dispute resolution, having prepared over 40 expert reports in international arbitration, dispute board and adjudication matters.
Louk has extensive expertise in mechanical engineering and project management, particularly relating to international energy projects. With a pragmatic approach, he brings over 15 years of experience particularly in live project management, with notable contributions to construction projects in Algeria and Germany.
Prior to becoming an expert, Louk worked across the globe on combined and open–cycle power plants utilising both oil and natural gas. He also worked with project management teams providing services throughout a project’s life cycle, as well as on stand-alone phases of project developments, in Europe, Africa and Asia.
Louk’s consulting experience covers a wide variety of construction projects, including oil and gas, industrial and processing facilities, hospitals, airports, energy, infrastructure projects, commercial buildings, mining, and floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) facilities. His delay expert appointments cover a variety of regions and projects, from Latin America to Singapore and from Scandinavia to South Africa.
Louk holds a BSc and an MSc in mechanical engineering (specialising in energy) from National Technical University of Athens, Greece, a diploma in international construction contracts from Pantheon ASSAS University in Paris, France. He is a certified project manager and his professional memberships include the Technical Chambers of Greece and the UK, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Louk works in English, Spanish, French and Greek.

His journey began with Taylor Woodrow, now a part of Vinci Construction UK, where he has played a pivotal role in the delivery of the multi-disciplinary £700M Victoria Station Upgrade project for the London Underground.
His legal and practical experience of the NEC, JCT and FIDIC contracts, means he is well-versed in producing expert delay reports for adjudication and arbitration proceedings. His skill set encompasses the preparation and review of programmes, review of claims, assessment of critical delay events, and forensic delay analysis.
Adrian's diverse engineering experience showcases his adaptability across various sectors. His knowledge, gained through collaboration with process engineers at VINCI Environment working in Paris, and structural engineers at Arup, makes him a versatile asset for any project.
